Agrapart is a highly respected Champagne producer located in the heart of the Côte des Blancs region in France. Founded in 1894, this family-owned winery has been producing exceptional Champagnes for over a century, earning a reputation for their dedication to quality and terroir-driven winemaking.
The Côte des Blancs is renowned for its Chardonnay grape, and Agrapart takes full advantage of the region's unique soil and climate to produce some of the finest Blanc de Blancs Champagnes in the world. The region's chalky soils, combined with a cool and sunny climate, provide the perfect conditions for Chardonnay to thrive and develop its characteristic acidity and freshness.
The wines of Agrapart are a true reflection of the terroir of the Côte des Blancs. They are made with a blend of 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced from carefully selected parcels of land, each with its own distinct characteristics. The winery follows a strict biodynamic approach, working in harmony with nature to produce wines that truly express the unique qualities of their terroir.
One of Agrapart's most famous and highly acclaimed wines is the "Terroirs" Blanc de Blancs. This cuvée is a blend of grapes from different terroirs within the Côte des Blancs, each contributing its own complexity and depth to the final wine. Made with minimal intervention and aged for at least three years, the "Terroirs" is a rich and elegant Champagne with a beautiful balance of fruit, minerality, and acidity.
Agrapart's commitment to quality and terroir is also evident in their use of traditional winemaking methods. The grapes are hand-harvested and gently pressed, and only the first pressing, known as the cuvée, is used to make the wine. The wines undergo a slow and natural fermentation process, followed by aging on the lees
