Siro Pacenti

Siro Pacenti is a renowned wine producer located in Montalcino, a picturesque hilltop town in the heart of Tuscany, Italy. The winery was founded in 1977 by Siro Pacenti, a visionary winemaker who dedicated his life to producing high-quality wines that truly represent the unique terroir of Montalcino.

Montalcino is a small but mighty wine region, known for its production of world-famous Brunello di Montalcino wines. The region's distinct microclimate, with hot and dry summers and cool winters, combined with its rich soils, creates the perfect conditions for growing Sangiovese grapes, the main variety used in the production of Brunello.

Siro Pacenti is situated in the southwest corner of Montalcino, where the soil is rich in clay and limestone, providing excellent drainage for the vines. The winery has a total of 27 hectares of land, of which 16 are dedicated to vineyards, with the remaining used for olive groves and woodlands. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 300 to 500 meters above sea level, allowing for optimal sun exposure and temperature variations, which are essential for the development of complex and elegant wines.

Siro Pacenti is known for its traditional winemaking techniques, with a strong focus on sustainability and respect for the land. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected, with only the best fruit making it into the final blend. The winery produces a range of wines, including Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, and a Super Tuscan blend called "Pelagrilli." All of their wines are aged in French oak barrels for a minimum of two years, resulting in wines that are well-structured, with smooth tannins, and a long finish.

The wines of Siro Pacenti have gained worldwide recognition and have consistently received high scores from top wine critics and publications. They are
