Château La Fleur de Boüard

Château La Fleur de Boüard is a renowned wine producer located in the prestigious appellation of Lalande-de-Pomerol in the Bordeaux region of France. This family-owned estate has a long and rich history, dating back to the 17th century when the Boüard de Laforest family first acquired the property.

The winery is currently run by Hubert de Boüard de Laforest, who is also the co-owner and winemaker of the world-famous Château Angélus in Saint-Émilion. His expertise and passion for winemaking has helped Château La Fleur de Boüard achieve international recognition and acclaim for its exceptional wines.

The estate spans over 25 hectares of vineyards, with the majority planted with Merlot grapes, as well as Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The terroir of Lalande-de-Pomerol is characterized by gravelly and sandy soils, which lend a unique minerality and complexity to the wines produced here.

Château La Fleur de Boüard follows sustainable and organic farming practices, with a focus on preserving the natural balance of the vineyard and limiting the use of chemicals. This commitment to sustainability is reflected in the high quality and purity of their wines.

The flagship wine of the estate, also named Château La Fleur de Boüard, is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in French oak barrels for 18-24 months. This wine has received numerous accolades and awards, including a 94-point rating from Wine Enthusiast and a 93-point rating from James Suckling.

In addition to their flagship wine, Château La Fleur de Boüard also produces a second wine called Le Lion de La Fleur de Boüard, as well as a white wine made from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sém
