Siret Frère & Sœur is a prestigious wine producer located in the heart of the Champagne region in France. Founded in 1927 by brothers Jules and Marcel Siret, the estate has been passed down through the generations and is now run by siblings Pierre and Sophie Siret, the fourth generation of the family to carry on the winemaking tradition.
The estate encompasses 20 hectares of vineyards, all located within the Champagne appellation, and is known for producing exceptional quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region. The vineyards are mainly planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, the three grape varieties allowed in Champagne production.
The Siret Frère & Sœur winery combines traditional winemaking techniques with modern technology to produce their award-winning Champagnes. The grapes are handpicked and carefully sorted before being gently pressed to extract the best juice. The wines then undergo a slow and controlled fermentation process, followed by aging in the estate's cellars, which date back to the 17th century.
One of the unique aspects of Siret Frère & Sœur is their commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly winemaking practices. The estate has been certified as a High Environmental Value (HEV) winery, which means that they use sustainable farming methods and minimize their impact on the environment.
In addition to their traditional Champagne production, Siret Frère & Sœur also produces a range of innovative and limited edition cuvées, showcasing the creativity and expertise of the winemakers. These include the "Harmonie," a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir aged in oak barrels, and the "Cuvée de la Sommelière," a unique collaboration with renowned sommelier Arnaud Lallement.
Siret Frère & Sœur's dedication to quality and excellence has earned them numerous awards and accolades, including a
