Angel's Envy

Angel's Envy is a premium bourbon producer based in Louisville, Kentucky. The brand was founded in 2010 by father and son duo, Lincoln and Wes Henderson, who come from a long line of distillers and have a passion for creating unique and high-quality spirits.

One of the standout features of Angel's Envy is their commitment to using traditional methods and experimenting with new techniques to create their signature bourbon. They start with a base of 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley, which is then aged in charred white oak barrels for up to 6 years. After this initial aging process, the bourbon is finished in port wine barrels, giving it a smooth and complex flavor profile.

The name "Angel's Envy" comes from the idea that when bourbon is aged in barrels, a small amount is lost to evaporation, known as the "angel's share." The Hendersons saw this as a blessing rather than a loss, as it allowed for more room in the barrel and created a richer, more flavorful bourbon.

In addition to their flagship bourbon, Angel's Envy also offers a limited edition cask strength bourbon and a rye whiskey. These spirits have gained recognition and awards from the spirits industry, solidifying Angel's Envy as a top producer in the bourbon market.
