Château Signac

Château Signac is a renowned wine producer located in the southern Rhône Valley region of France. The winery is situated in the small village of Chusclan, near the town of Bagnols-sur-Cèze, and has been producing exceptional wines since the 1860s.

The estate covers over 40 hectares of land, with 36 hectares dedicated to vineyards. The vineyards are situated on slopes with a south-facing orientation, allowing for optimal sun exposure and a wide range of grape varieties to thrive. The terroir of the region is characterized by a combination of clay, limestone, and pebbles, providing the perfect conditions for growing high-quality grapes.

Château Signac is best known for their production of red wines, with a focus on the traditional grape varieties of the southern Rhône Valley, including Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. The winery also produces white and rosé wines, using a blend of local grape varieties such as Clairette, Viognier, and Grenache Blanc.

One of the defining features of Château Signac's wines is their commitment to sustainable and organic practices. The winery has been certified organic since 2008, and each year they strive to improve their techniques to create wines that are a true reflection of their terroir. This dedication to sustainability not only ensures the preservation of the land for future generations but also results in wines that are pure, expressive, and full of character.

The wines of Château Signac are classified as Côtes du Rhône Villages Chusclan, a sub-appellation within the larger Côtes du Rhône Villages appellation. This designation is reserved for the highest quality wines from the southern Rhône Valley, and Château Signac's wines consistently meet and exceed these standards.
