Domaine Ponsot is a prestigious and highly regarded wine producer located in the Burgundy region of France. The Ponsot family has been in the wine business since the late 18th century, but it wasn't until the 1920s that they established their own estate in the village of Morey-Saint-Denis in the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy. Today, the Domaine is run by Laurent Ponsot, the fourth generation of the family to manage the estate. The Domaine Ponsot vineyards cover a total of 15 hectares, with 12 hectares in Morey-Saint-Denis and the remaining 3 hectares in the villages of Chambolle-Musigny, Gevrey-Chambertin, and Corton-Charlemagne. The vineyards are planted with a variety of Burgundy's most famous grape varietals, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Aligoté.
