Flor de Cana

Flor de Caña is a Nicaraguan rum producer based at the San Antonio sugar mill in Chichigalpa, operated by the Pellas family. While the brand is best known internationally for its aged rums, which are produced using volcanic water from the Maribios mountain range and aged in American white oak barrels, the distillery also produces a range of rum-based liqueurs under the same name.

The Coco Liqueur falls within this extension of the core range, combining rum with coconut flavoring to produce a sweeter, lower-alcohol spirit suited to cocktails and mixed drinks. Coconut liqueurs of this style are typically consumed over ice, blended into tropical cocktails, or used as a modifier in longer drinks, and the rum base gives them more depth than those built on a neutral spirit foundation.
