The history of Maison Parce Frere dates back to 1882 when brothers Louis and François Parce took over their father's winemaking business. In 1893, the brothers decided to officially name their winery "Maison Parce Frere" and the rest, as they say, is history.

The winery has remained in the Parce family for five generations, with each generation passing down their knowledge and expertise to the next. Today, Maison Parce Frere is run by brothers Jean-Luc and Philippe Parce, who continue to uphold their family's legacy of producing exceptional wines.

Maison Parce Frere is situated in the Côte de Nuits subregion of Burgundy, which is known for its prestigious and sought-after wines. The winery owns 25 hectares of vineyards, mostly in the appellations of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Gevrey-Chambertin, and Vosne-Romanée.
