Peroni

Peroni is an Italian brewery founded in Vigevano in 1846, later relocating its main operations to Rome. It is one of Italy's most widely recognised beer brands and has been part of the Asahi Group Holdings portfolio since 2016. The brewery produces lager-style beers intended for broad commercial distribution across Italy and international markets.

Nastro Azzurro, which translates as "Blue Ribbon," is Peroni's flagship premium lager. First brewed in 1963, it is made using a proportion of Italian maize alongside barley malt, which contributes to its lighter body and crisp, relatively dry finish. The beer is pale golden in colour, lightly hopped, and typically served cold as a refreshing, sessionable drink. It is positioned as a step above Peroni's standard lager in terms of both alcohol content and market positioning.
