Bot River

Bot River is a small wine-producing region located in the Western Cape of South Africa, situated approximately 100 kilometres east of Cape Town along the Bot River valley. Though relatively modest in scale compared to established South African wine regions, Bot River has developed a reputation for cool-climate viticulture, with winemakers attracted by its natural altitude and proximity to Atlantic influences that moderate temperature extremes.

The region's terroir is defined by elevation and maritime influence.
