Cullen is a renowned wine producer located in the Margaret River region of Western Australia. The winery was established in 1971 by Dr. Kevin John Cullen and his wife Diana, who were among the first to plant vines in the area. Today, the winery is run by their daughter Vanya, who has continued the family's tradition of producing exceptional wines.

Cullen is known for their commitment to biodynamic and organic farming practices, which they believe allows the grapes to express the unique terroir of the region. The winery produces a range of wines, including Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot.

One of Cullen's most famous wines is their Diana Madeline Cabernet Merlot, named after Vanya's mother. This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot, and is aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. The wine is known for its complex aromas of blackcurrant, violets, and cedar, and its rich, full-bodied palate.

Cullen also produces a range of white wines, including their Kevin John Chardonnay, named after the winery's founder. This wine is made from grapes grown on a single vineyard block, and is aged in French oak barrels for 11 months. The wine is known for its elegant, complex aromas of citrus, white peach, and hazelnut, and its creamy, textured palate.

In addition to their commitment to sustainable farming practices, Cullen is also known for their dedication to producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Margaret River region. The winery's vineyards are located in a cool, maritime climate, which allows the grapes to ripen slowly and develop complex flavors and aromas.

Overall, Cullen is a producer that is highly regarded for their commitment to sustainability, their dedication to producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Margaret River region, and their exceptional range of wines. Whether you are a fan of red or white wines, Cullen is a producer that is sure to impress.
