La Scola was the first winery established in Gavi in 1919. The vineyard is planted on steep slopes 50km from the sea. These Cortese vines are some of the oldest in Piedmont and produce complex wines. La Scolca White Label is the 'everyday' alternative to the legendary Black Label wine produced by the Domaine.
Sourced from younger vines this wine still displays similar richness and complexity to its elder brother. Light straw in colour with green undertones, Zesty lemon aromas with some almond and stone fruit notes. Crisp, lively, mineral character with sharp acidity and a refreshing, lasting finish.
