Typical bouquet of tropical fruits and citrus notes with evident Mediterranean aromas (sage). Soft and balanced taste of moderate alcohol with good notes of salinity and freshness.

Here is a terrific and extremely well-priced blend of 80% Vermentino and 20% Chardonnay. This wine represents a collaborative effort between Agricola Punica and Cantina Santadi. Samas gets its name from the Punic god of the sun. Samas is indeed a bright and luminous wine that shows the unmistakable traits of warm-climate winemaking. In contact with the lees for up to 40 days, the bouquet is softly layered with peach and tropical fruit. Bright citrus and pink grapefruit make for a lively finish.
